FOR SALE: Good Condition, ... I am selling a 1978 Ford F250 Camper Special 4x4 Truck. Pictured with camper, but I am selling only the truck. This is a sharp looking truck that runs real hard, and is in very good condition. This truck was redone a few years back with new paint, upholstery, new exterior and interior moldings, new grill, and aluminum wheels. The 400 Cleveland block was entirely rebuilt and stroked to 430 c.i., compression bumped to 9.5 to 1, mild RV cam, Holly throttle body fuel injection and K&N air cleaner. Brakes rotors and wheel bearings and u-joints were also replaced. It has a brand new (less than 500 miles) automatic transmission and 4x4 transfer case and a brand new set of Dean off-road/street tires that work well in the mud but not noisy when on pavement. Over the last few years, the only thing not replaced was the rear end gears. Being a camper special, it also has dual fuel tanks and carries about 40 gallon of gas.
