36' AIRSTREAM CLASSIC MOTORHOME
Last year built 1997. Don't get this confused with a LAND YACHT! The CLASSIC AIRSTREAM MOTORHOME is a true airstream with its signature aluminum bullet shell.
Bought it a few years ago and restored it completely... Actually updated the blue and beige interior, and worked with a designer to do a retro 50's interior! All fabrics, fixtures and materials are top of the line.
Floor is waterproof laminate oak
Used industrial carpeting
Back is Moroccan room. Put two full size futtons to create one large bed. Custom pillows and upholstery.
Bathroom redone. New head with foot pump/full size. New sink and fixture (great as a bar!)
Kitchen redone. Fridge (gas/electric) resurfaced with stainless steel panels. Countertop redone with luxury laminate. New sink (Black enamel) and fixtures.
Dinette. All new upholstery. All valances new using luxury fabrics!
Sitting area. Two facing three seater leather convirtible couches. Couches turn into massive king size bed.
Hidden pulldown video screen.
12 Speaker stereo, 2 subwoofers.
Rear view camera, stereo, lcd tv, XM wired, sattelite dish with automatic finder, 2 AC units, hot water, Zipdee awnings, stabilizers, and more!!!! HAVE ALL THE MANUALS - tracked down everything
This thing is a dream to drive. Does not feel cheap like other RVs.
Overall the project is 95% done.
My last goal was to pop out a few dents and sandblast the entire thing to a mirror shine. Time has runout and I am out of steam. Needs to go to a new home for the final touches. Could be the coolest bus on the road! Already gets a lot of attention!
